WEDC We’re All in Grant Phase II
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has released phase two of the We’re All In Grant. About $50 million has been set aside, which will award $5,000 grants to Wisconsin businesses.
Most businesses are eligible if their business operated prior to January 1, 2020, and remained operational in 2020 without closing, suffered a loss due to the pandemic, filed their tax return, and earned less than $1,000,000 in revenue per their tax return. In addition, eligible businesses must employ less than 50 full-time employees, and 75% or more of the business’s value of assets are located in Wisconsin (as well as labor costs).
Of those businesses that meet the above criteria, priority is given to the following:
- Those who did not receive the first phase of the WED We’re All In grant (although if you did, you are still eligible for this second phase)
- Minority business owners
- Industries with the greatest impact due to COVID (bars, restaurants, etc.)
However, certain industries do NOT qualify, such as:
- Crop production
- Animal production
- Lessors/Landlords
- Nonprofits
- Those on the WI DOR delinquent taxpayer list (contact us if you have questions on this one).
