Troy Hilyard is an accounting professional with 38 years of experience in business, agricultural, and individual tax, as well as financial planning. A Partner in MBE CPAs’ Scottsbluff office, he works closely with businesses, farm operations, and individuals throughout the region, providing dependable guidance and insight. Troy is also the local representative for MBE Wealth Management and holds the Certified Exit and Succession Planner (CEPA) designation, helping clients plan for transition, succession, and long-term financial growth.

Troy earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He received statewide recognition for earning the second-highest score on the Nebraska CPA exam. Known for his thoughtful, client-focused approach, Troy helps clients navigate complex tax matters, succession planning, and key financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his family, and golfing.
